Nonprofit fundraising/Gala Donations

Gifting my work is fundamental to the ethos of my research. Through the years I've donated pieces to Gala charity events, silent auctions and other non-profit fundraising events. Understandably it's important for me to confirm a charity's validity, that the work will be used for the purpose it's gifted, that close to the value of the piece or higher can be achieved for the charity if auctioned and finally that it's not a politically divisive or discriminatory organization. 
That being said I usually have work set aside and consider it a genuine honor to be able to support agencies doing good in the world.
