Flow States

Inspired by high performance athletes, in particular professional surfers, the last several months I've been focused on Flow States.

I've not added liquid compressed Time to this particular work as Time compression creates a dimensional distortion and my goal of creating Flow States is a cohesion with Time as it presents in relationship to task integration.

No compression but research grade graphene Nanoplatelets are in these prototypes.

Transferring the liquid Flow State into solid form is to suspend it's field in a sort perpetuity but also makes them wearable and water safe. And hey, if you can make science art too, why not.

Cicadas symbolize the warrior version of the butterfly's transformation. Digging themselves out in unison after years buried in the earth, cracking through and molting their exoskeletons to emerge with iridescent wings and songs in their hearts.
